Thank you so very much my friends for the responses for my previous journal. It brought tears to my eyes....

The vertigo is slowly fading; am I ever glad for it! It was real yucky to experiment.

I really like all the emoticons available here and would love to use them. A couple of persons explained to me how to use them, but I can't seem to get the hang of it. Could someone explain to me how to incorporate them in my comments, in a detailed way please?

If you want to use the standard DA emoticons you pick the one you want and find the name. If you want a hug emote:

you type a colon the word hug and another colon, like this with no spaces : hug :

to do

you type : rofl : (take out the spaces)

If you want to add an icon you use the colon again, but use the worn icon before the name
so

would be typed : icon21citrouilles : (again take out the spaces after the colon and before the last colon)

when you click on the word Emoticons, a window will pop up with all the available emoticons on DA....

Also at the top will be a way to sort the emoticons.... popular, original, alphabetical, etc. I always choose alphabetical because it's easier for me to find the emoticon I want that way, but it's up to you of course.

Also, if you want to type in the person's name but not their icon, you type in : dev21citrouilles : & leave out the spaces.
